Are your toenails ready for summer?
Do your nails look dull?
Do you have discoloration around the edge of your nail?
Do you have white or yellow spots in the middle of the nail?
Is your nail becoming thick or brittle? Painful?
If so, you might have a fungal nail infection.
There are several ways to treat this including topical or oral medications. Without treatment the toenails can become so thick that they are painful and the fungus can spread to adjacent nails and skin.
If you have any concerns, make an appointment to see your favorite podiatrist!
Congratulations UCONN scholar athletes !
